Terms and Conditions

QUOTATION ESTIMATES
Unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted for will be valid for 30 days only from date of estimate.

ARTWORK ORIGINATION AND PROOFS
All graphic design work will be charged for. Should artwork be supplied, it is recommended to be supplied in high-resolution Jpeg format or PDF document.

It is the client's responsibility to check proofs carefully for accuracy in all respects, ranging from spelling to technical illustrations. Signtrade will not be held liable for any errors or mistakes after the customer has given final approval to print, regardless of the source of error.

MANUFACTURING & ORDERS
No manufacturing will commence without an official order. All orders placed via e-mail will be legally binding. Upon placing an order, it is deemed that the Client has read, understood and accepts all Terms and Conditions of Sale.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULES
To ensure adequate processing and production, time to complete your order in a satisfactory manner will be on average 5-7 working days. For time-sensitive projects or special requests, please contact Signtrade prior to placing your order.

Production schedules will be established and adhered to by both Client and Signtrade, provided that neither shall incur any liability, penalty or additional cost due to delays caused by a state of war, riot, civil disorder, fire, theft, labour trouble or strike, accidents, energy failure, equipment breakdown, delays in shipment by suppliers or carriers, action of government or civil authority, and acts of God or other causes beyond the control of the Client or Signtrade.

Where production schedules are not adhered to by the Client, the final delivery date or dates will be adjusted accordingly. If Signtrade cannot make any production for any reason which is either wholly or partly beyond its control, then the obligation to make that production shall be suspended until the company can make it. No penalties will be incurred by Signtrade should any deadlines not be met.

PAYMENT TERMS
Unless otherwise stated, all work under R5000.00 will require full payment up front prior to collection or delivery. Orders exceeding this will require a 50% deposit with balance due on completion. Online orders are to be paid for in full before dispatching of any goods. The Client hereby acknowledges that any amount not paid by due date the entire outstanding amount shall immediately become due and payable without notice.

Goods remain the property of Signtrade until payment is made in full. Signtrade, in its sole discretion, shall be entitled to take possession of any goods that have not been paid for, and in respect of which payments are overdue.

DELIVERY
The Client is responsible to check goods on delivery for any damages and the signature on the invoice delivery note, be it from courier or delivered physically by trade, will confirm that the goods were delivered in good order. All goods being returned will carry a 10% handling fee.

All quotes and delivery times are subject to availability of materials and subject to revision, if materials are not available.

All transport costs, either by rail, road or air, are for the Client's account. In all cases where delivery is by courier, the courier shall be deemed the Client's agent and delivery to such courier shall be deemed as the Client in the same manner, as if the Client signed the delivery documents.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
Products supplied by Signtrade are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement. Signtrade does not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the safety, reliability or accuracy of the product. Signtrade shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, general, special, incidental or consequential damages (including -without limitation- lost revenues and lost profit) which may result from the inability to use or the correct or incorrect use, abuse, or misuse of these products, even if Signtrade has been informed of the possibilities of such damages. Signtrade cannot assume any obligation or responsibility.

This disclaimer does not exclude any damages that are attributed to the negligence of Signtrade or any of its employees. The use of these contents is forbidden in those places where the law does not allow this disclaimer to take full effect.

PERFORMANCE
Signtrade will use its best efforts to ensure quality, performance as well as timely delivery and guard against any loss to you through the failure of our vendors, media or others to perform in accordance with their commitments, Signtrade is not responsible for failure on their part.

Signtrade shall not be liable to the Client for inability to perform, or delays in performance in terms of this agreement, should such inability or delay arise from any cause beyond the reasonable control of Signtrade, the existence or happening of which cause has been drawn to the attention of the Client within a reasonable time of occurrence of such cause.

The Client acknowledges that Signtrade is not necessarily the manufacturer of the materials. In respect of those goods not manufactured by Signtrade the Client indemnifies and holds Signtrade harmless against any claim that may be brought against it in consequence of delays in delivery or such goods being defective and causing any damage whatsoever, whether through accident, negligence, recklessness, third party fraud or any other cause. All materials supplied by Signtrade are sold voetstoots and no warranties or representations will be made, either express or implied as to the suitability of the materials for any purpose whatsoever. The Client indemnifies and holds Signtrade harmless against any claims and expenses of whatsoever nature and description arising from the sale and the supply of materials.

If we must retain attorneys to collect our invoices, we will be entitled to reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, and interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. This agreement is our entire understanding and may not be modified in any respect except in an executed agreement.
